Lohan returns to court for probable final hearing

Mar 29, 2012, 9:49 AM

AP Entertainment Writer

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Lindsay Lohan returns to court Thursday for what may be her last appearance before a criminal judge _ if she behaves herself.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner will hear a final update on Lohan’s progress under strict probation requirements.

If the actress has complied with all the conditions, Sautner will end Lohan’s probation on a 2007 drunken driving case.

The 25-year-old would remain on unsupervised probation for taking a necklace without permission last year.

A successful completion of probation would be a milestone for Lohan, who has been repeatedly sent to jail for violating court orders since a pair of arrests in 2007.

The former Disney star’s career has suffered, but Lohan is being cast in more projects, including an upcoming “Glee” guest spot and an Elizabeth Taylor biopic.
