PHOENIX — Travelers who fly between Phoenix and Pittsburgh now have a new nonstop option.

Allegiant’s newest biweekly service, which began Friday, will take travelers from Sky Harbor International Airport to Pittsburgh International Airport in Pennsylvania.

City of Phoenix Aviation Director Chad Makovsky has high hopes for the economic impact of the new Phoenix-Pittsburgh nonstop flight.

“Allegiant’s addition of nonstop service to Pittsburgh shows the airline’s confidence in our market, and we’re appreciative of their partnership,” Makovsky said in a Friday news release. “We look forward to being able to offer more choices for our travelers to get between our two thriving cities.”

A Friday news release from Allegiant said the company is offering one-way fares as low as $65 for purchases made through Sunday.

It should be noted that these low prices are only available on tickets purchased for travel by March 4, 2025. Additionally, fare rules, routes and scheduled could change without notice.

Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer, said he’s excited about these new nonstop flights.

“This addition, part of a larger milestone expansion for Allegiant, will connect more passengers to the people and places they love,” Wells said in the release. “Allegiant is committed to providing convenient, affordable flights paired with an exceptional customer experience.”
