Officers with the Marana Police Department pinned Sandoval as the suspect after executing a search warrant for his vehicle as well as two homes he was associated with, prosecutors said.

Additionally, they found various items he stole while working as a contractor for Marana residents.

Sandoval pleaded guilty to the following felony charges:

  • Two counts of theft, greater than $4,000 and less than $25,000.

Sandoval was placed on seven years of probation and ordered to pay $21,000 in restitution.

“My office will not tolerate criminals stealing from hardworking Arizonans or businesses,” Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes said in the release. “I am grateful for the work of my team and the Marana Police Department in holding this individual accountable under the law.”
