City of Surprise preparing for protests
Surprise Mayor Kevin Sartor says potential protests surrounding the planned federal immigration facility are a “legitimate concern,” but he is confident the city is prepared. “Our police are ready. Our city’s ready,” Sartor said, adding that Surprise continues to seek information from the federal government to keep residents informed.
