Tempe detectives arrest man on murder charges

Tempe detectives arrested 23-year-old Jose Bojorquez Saturday morning for the murder of Adrian Salazar.
Officers said the victim was driving south on Scottsdale road when a gun in the car went off, striking him in the head. His car then collided with another in the intersection at McKellips road.
Detectives are continuing to investigate what led up to Bojorquez shooting Salazar and the motive is unknown.
Bojorquez was the passenger in the vehicle when he shot Salazar who was driving southbound on Scottsdale Road.
Jose Bojorquez was arrested and booked into jail for second degree murder.
