PHOENIX – Mesa police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect they believe was involved in four recent attempted sexual assaults, including three this week.

The incidents occurred at apartment complexes between Dobson and Alma School roads north of Southern Avenue and involved female victims, according to the Mesa Police Department crime blog.

The suspect pushed his way into the units or entered through unlocked doors and “has become violent in his attempt to commit sexual assault,” according to the post.

Photos of the suspect were obtained from one of the incidents. He is described as a Black male in his 20s, around 6 feet tall with hair in twists of 1-2 inches.

He was wearing a black hoodie with green lettering saying “Premiere Soccer” during two of the incidents, police said.

The first attack occurred Dec. 10, 2020, at 1030 S. Stewart. The second was at the same complex on Wednesday. Two more took place Thursday, at 1840 W. Emelita and 1620 W. Southern Ave.

Anybody with information about the cases was asked to call 480-644-2211.

We want to hear from you.
