PHOENIX — Get those umbrellas ready because rain may be on the way to the Valley throughout this week and into the weekend.

The National Weather Service is calling for a 30% chance of rain Tuesday with a 20% chance in the evening hours.

A second, colder system is expected to move in Wednesday night with a 20% chance of rain before increasing to a 40% chance on Thursday.

The possibility of rain remains in the forecast during the weekend with Saturday seeing the best chance for precipitation at 50%.

Rain chances for Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday are 40%.

Despite the possibility of rain, high temperatures in the Valley are going to remain in the high 60’s to low 70’s before dipping to the mid-to-low 60’s on Saturday and Sunday.

Low temperatures will hover in the low 50’s but drop to around 45 degrees on Saturday.

It would be the first measurable rainfall in the Valley in 2021 after accumulating 0.47 inches in December.
