PHOENIX — Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting that left three injured Saturday morning in Phoenix.
Authorities responded to two hospitals around 1:18 a.m. concerning three individuals who were shot. Officers determined the victims were shot at a party in a vacant warehouse near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
A 17-year-old female and 18-year-old male sustained serious non-life-threatening injuries, while the third victim, a 17-year-old male, is in critical condition.
Officers located the warehouse and found it empty upon arrival, though a chain-link fence surrounding the building had been cut.
Investigators learned a fight occurred outside the warehouse during the party, which was attended by numerous people. An unknown male fired multiple rounds, wounding the three victims who were also outside.
The victims were dropped off at the two different hospitals while the rest of the partygoers fled the scene, police say.
No other information was made immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
