Sign of the times: Harry Styles to perform in Glendale next year

PHOENIX — It’s a sign of the times. Pop star and teen heartthrob Harry Styles will make a stop in Glendale next year to promote his upcoming album.
Styles will perform at Gila River Arena on Aug. 29, 2020, with opening act Jenny Lewis.
The “verified fan” ticket presale will run Nov. 18-21, while sales open to the general public Nov. 22 at 10 a.m.
Formerly of boy band One Direction, Styles has been performing solo since 2016 and will release his second album “Fine Line” on Dec. 13.

Beginning in April, the 25-year-old Englishman will tour through Europe, Canada, Russia and the U.S. before ending in Mexico City on Oct. 3.
Styles has also ventured into film, appearing in the Academy Award-winning movie “Dunkirk” in 2017.
His former bandmate Niall Horan will also perform at Gila River Arena in 2020, with a tour date set for May 15.
