Goodwill is set to open its new store and donation center in Glendale with a grand opening celebration this week.
Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona will open its new location, located near Bell Road and 43rd Avenue on Thursday. The new store will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
As part of the grand opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place ahead of the doors opening at 8 a.m. The first 150 customers in line will receive a $5 gift card for use at the store.
Guests who bring donation bags throughout Oct. 22-25 will also receive coupons for $5 off purchases of $10 or more.
“We are thrilled to open a new Goodwill location in Glendale this month,” Adam Lewis, GCNA executive vice president and chief operating officer, said in a news release. “In addition to bringing more great thrift finds to the Valley, every donation and every purchase helps support Goodwill’s mission services right here in our local communities. We invite everyone to come out on Oct. 22 to take part in the celebration as we open the newest Goodwill store and donation center in the Valley.”
