PHOENIX – If you haven’t gotten around to seeing the latest Avengers movie, or if seeing it again in a hockey arena sounds like a cool idea, here’s your chance.
The Arizona Coyotes are hosting their third movie day of the year Saturday with a free screening of “Avengers: Endgame” at Gila River Arena in Glendale.
The world’s top-grossing movie of all time will be played on the arena’s 24-foot-high, 42-foot-wide high-definition video board, which was installed last year.
Fans who want to see their favorite superheroes do battle with the villainous Thanos can enter through the Coyotes Den team store starting at 10 a.m. The show starts at 11 a.m.
This was… inevitable.

Free tickets can be reserved at arizonacoyotes.com/movieday by entering “MOVIE” as the promo code.
The arena will sell concessions during the movie.
Earlier this year, the Coyotes screened Pixar flicks “Incredibles 2” and “Monsters, Inc.” at the arena.
“When we brought in our new video board last season, our goal was to use it as a driving force for new and exciting ways to engage with our fans,” Coyotes President and CEO Ahron Cohen told NHL.com when the first movie was announced.
“This movie day is one of the ways in which we are incorporating the video board into applications outside of the game day experience to create greater connectivity with our community.”
