Aloft Hotel opens at Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District
Arizona's fifth Aloft Hotel opened its doors to guests at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale earlier this month.
PHOENIX – A new boutique hotel opened its doors in the West Valley this month.
The state’s fifth Aloft Hotel started welcoming guests at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale on July 7.
The project was developed by HCW, a real estate company with offices in Phoenix, Kansas and Missouri.
“The Westgate Entertainment District is the perfect location for Aloft’s business model providing a hip modern atmosphere at an affordable price,” Rick Huffman, HCW president and CEO, said in a press release.
The four-story facility has 100 rooms with 9-foot ceilings, platform beds and walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads.
It’s located near Westgate’s AMC movie theaters and within walking distance of shopping at Tanger Outlets, dining at a variety of restaurants and sports and entertainment at Gila River Arena and State Farm Stadium.
Amenities at the 2.4-acre property include two social spaces — the Re:mix lounge and the W XYZ bar — as well as a gym and pool.
Aloft, which is owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, also has locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe and Tucson.
