Construction on US 60 near Wickenburg to begin Monday

PHOENIX — A pavement improvement project on the U.S. 60 near Wickenburg is scheduled to begin on Monday, the Arizona Department of Transportation announced Friday.

Construction approved for the $10.4-million project will occur in a 10-mile stretch between Wickenburg and Morristown, roughly from milepost 110 where the U.S. 93 intersects and milepost 120 headed toward Phoenix.

ADOT said the work will primarily be done on Mondays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and restrict one lane in both directions.

Drivers should not have to anticipate any work disruptions in the area on weekends and holidays.

Pavement work is expected to be completed by mid-2026, according to ADOT.
