Eastbound US 60 reopens after collision involving pedestrian, police vehicle

PHOENIX — The eastbound lanes of the US 60 reopened in the East Valley after closing on Monday morning due to a collision, authorities said.
The closure at Mountain View Road was due to a collision between a pedestrian and a patrol vehicle with the Hayden Police Department, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The closure began around 5:20 a.m., and the lanes reopened around 8:20 a.m., ADOT said.
