PHOENIX – Multiple construction projects will slow metro Phoenix traffic this weekend, but only one freeway is scheduled for a full closure.

A stretch of US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in Mesa will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday for bridge maintenance, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. (All times below are subject to change.)

Specifically, eastbound US 60 will be off-limits from Country Club Drive to Mesa Drive, along with the Dobson and Alma School Road on-ramps.

Motorists are advised to detour on Southern Avenue or Baseline Road.

In addition, westbound US 60 will be reduced to four lanes, with the left two lanes closed, during the times the eastbound side is closed.

Where else will metro Phoenix traffic be restricted this weekend?

Here’s a quick look at the other spots where metro Phoenix traffic will be impeded by construction projects:

• The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at 32nd Street will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday in Phoenix so crews can install traffic-monitoring equipment as part of the Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
• North Phoenix traffic on the eastbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway will be limited to two lanes from Cave Creek Road to State Route 51 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for pavement maintenance.
• In Scottsdale, Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed overnight under the Loop 101 Pima Freeway from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday for bridge work.
• In Gilbert, traffic on the westbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway will be restricted to two lanes from Val Vista Drive to Lindsay Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for a barrier shift as part of widening project.
• The westbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway on-ramp at Val Vista Drive will close for two months starting Friday night.
