Silver Alert canceled after man with cognitive condition went missing in Glendale

PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Friday for man with a cognitive condition who went missing four days earlier in Glendale.

Cappie Clifford Harden, 67, was last seen in the vicinity of 47th Avenue near Maryland Avenue, between Glendale Avenue and Bethany Home Road, around 6:30 p.m. Monday. The Silver Alert was issued on Thursday, and got canceled at 6:19 p.m. on Friday.

The condition Harden was found in is unclear.

Harden suffers from Alzheimer’s and has a speech impediment, and he isn’t familiar with the area, according to the alert.

He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a white polo shirt with one blue stripe and one red stripe, gray pants, black shoes and a green baseball cap when last seen.
