One man killed in Glendale shooting

PHOENIX — A man is dead after a Glendale shooting on Sunday, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Officers responded to a shooting call in the area of North 45th Avenue at 12:33 a.m. and found the man in front of a nearby residence. 

He was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.

45th Avenue is closed from Eva Street to the area of Sunnyslope due to the shooting.

The case is an ongoing investigation. No other information was made available.
