Flower Child is expanding its West Valley footprint with two new locations opening before the end of the year.
The Phoenix-founded fast-casual restaurant will open its Peoria location at The Trailhead on Nov. 17, followed by a Goodyear location at GSQ on Dec. 8.
The Peoria opening near 83rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road will mark Flower Child’s 48th location overall, with Goodyear serving as No. 49.
“The West Valley has been on our minds for a long time, and we intentionally waited for the right locations,” Dave Luz, vice president of operations for Flower Child, said in a news release.
“Flower Child is Arizona-born and bred, so serving these neighborhoods feels like coming home.
“We wanted each restaurant to fit its neighborhood from day one, and we’re honored to be opening our doors to guests in Peoria and Goodyear.”
What to expect at the new West Valley Flower Child locations
Both new spots will launch featuring Flower Child’s new fall menu. Seasonal additions include:
Roasted Butternut & Asian Pear Salad: Radicchio, frisée, golden berry, toasted walnut, marinated grains, dried cranberry, goat cheese and sherry vinaigrette.
Hoisin Tofu “Banh Mi” Wrap: Mushroom truffle pâté, pickled carrot, cucumber, Vietnamese herb, romaine and jalapeño pineapple vinaigrette.
Miso Glazed Salmon Bowl: Trumpet mushroom, steamed vegetables, toasted sesame, cucumber sunomono and brown rice.
Flo-Cho Chow Bowl: Wok noodle, zucchini, carrot, mushroom, scallion, bell pepper, cashew and tamarind sauce.
Gluten-Free Pumpkin Muffin
The Peoria location features exterior and interior artwork, including an original exterior mural that reads “Let Love Grow Roots.” Gallery walls inside feature Arizona-themed imagery and original butterfly artwork created by Flower Child’s creative team.
The Goodyear restaurant highlights a “Let Your Soul Shine” exterior mural surrounded by florals and lemons. Its interior features desert botanical artwork, including three original hand-sewn pieces by FRC Senior Digital Marketing Manager Alegre Lopez inspired by Sonoran Desert vegetation.
Both locations will offer dine-in service, online ordering and takeout through the Flower Child app.
Operating hours for both West Valley spots will be daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
