PHOENIX — A former East Valley teacher was sentenced to 187 years in prison earlier this month after being convicted of having sexual relationships with two of his students, authorities announced Tuesday.
Cory Kapahulehua, 44, was sentenced on Oct. 17 after being convicted of 12 counts of sexual conduct with a child, two counts of sexual abuse, and one count each of molestation of a child, attempt to commit sexual conduct with a minor and aggravated assault, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
“The defendant used his position as a teacher to groom these students and take advantage of their trust,” County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said in a press release. “I’m proud of these girls for having the courage to come forward and stop him from victimizing any children ever again.”

According to prosecutors, Kapahulehua began having sexual relationships with two female students in August 2021, when the victims were 14 and 17 years old.
Kapahulehua was a teacher at the Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center’s (AAEC) Mesa campus at the time.
AAEC is a public charter high school system with multiple Arizona campuses and an online program.
The younger victim said she and Kapahulehua had sex on school grounds until he was fired in January 2022. They then continued their relationship off-campus, meeting at a hotel near the school and at a nearby parking garage, prosecutors said.
The older victim said she had sex with Kapahulehua at his apartment multiple times while she was underage. Kapahulehua started an online fundraiser to help the girl move out of her parents’ house when she was 17 and they moved in together after she turned 18.

Isn't this exactly what Epstein, Trump's secret friend, did? Show us the list and put these people in jail for the same amount of time for the same crime.
Hummmmm. I wonder which one. LOL
