A 2-year-old boy is in critical condition after being pulled from a Goodyear pool on Tuesday.

A 2-year-old boy is in critical condition after being pulled from a Goodyear pool on Tuesday.

Goodyear Fire Battalion Chief Russ Braden said the family lost of track of the boy at the home, located near Van Buren St. and Sarvial Ave., for about five minutes.

“This was the grandmother’s home and the mother and father of this child were staying there temporarily,” he said. “They did have a pool fence installed, but the child managed to get past the pool fence somehow. We don’t know if it was left open.”
