Authorities canceled a SAFE Alert on Sunday after a 73-year-old man who was last seen in Glendale was located safely.
Albert Young has “returned to where he needed to be,” according to Glendale Police Department.
When the alert was issued Saturday, Young was last seen near 55th Avenue and Camelback Road around 4 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities said Young has a medical condition that may cause him to become easily confused.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
