PHOENIX – Valley drivers should be aware of multiple freeway closures and restrictions this weekend.
In fact, Loops 101, 202 and 303 all appear on the Arizona Department of Transportation Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory for Feb. 6-9.

The only scheduled mainline closures are for overnight pavement maintenance on the Loop 202 Santan Freeway in Chandler.
The westbound side will be closed from the Loop 101 Price Freeway to Interstate 10 from 9 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday. The closure will shift to the eastbound lanes over the same stretch from 9 p.m. Saturday to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Further east on Loop 202, westbound traffic will be reduced to two lanes between Cooper and McQueen roads from 9 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday for a widening project.
Other freeway restrictions this weekend
In north Phoenix, the eastbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway ramp to southbound State Route 51 will be closed from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday for lane striping work. The Black Mountain Boulevard ramp to southbound SR 51 will also be closed.
West Valley motorists only have one restriction to worry about. The southbound Loop 303 off-ramp at US 60/Grand Avenue in the Surprise area will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday for striping work.
