There is no estimated time to reopen the highways.
A stretch of Interstate 17 near Flagstaff was closed for several hours Sunday but is now clear.
Flash flood warnings were issued for multiple regions across Arizona on Sunday, including in Maricopa and Gila counties. Flooding prompted officials to issue evacuation orders in several counties.
Flow remains elevated in area washes, creeks, streams, & rivers across South-Central AZ. Please continue to heed road closures, avoid floodwaters, and turn around, don't drown if you encounter inundated low water crossings!
