Southbound Loop 303 reopens in West Valley after overnight closure

PHOENIX — Southbound Loop 303 reopened Sunday morning after a crash at Bethany Home Road prompted a closure on Saturday evening, authorities said.

The freeway closed around 8:40 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. It was reopened shortly before 6 a.m. the next morning.

The northbound side of the freeway was not affected, authorities said.
