A Silver Alert was canceled on Friday for a 59-year-old man last seen in south Phoenix who has a medical condition that causes confusion.

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled on Friday for a 59-year-old man last seen in south Phoenix who has a medical condition that causes confusion.

Samuel Hatcher was returned safely to his family, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Hatcher had been last seen at around 6 a.m. near 16th Street and Baseline Road, authorities said.

He is 5-foot-8 and weighs 200 pounds and has a bald head, gray beard and brown eyes. Hatcher was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.
