Construction worker seriously injured at Phoenix TSMC plant
A construction worker was seriously injured at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) plant in Phoenix on Monday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A construction worker was seriously injured at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) plant in Phoenix on Monday, authorities said.
The Phoenix Fire Department said firefighters were treating and transporting the injured worker, whose condition was described as “serious.”
What happened to TSMC construction worker who was injured?
The worker suffered broken bones, according to a Monday statement from TSMC.
The rescue took place at the massive semiconductor facility being built near 43rd Avenue and Loop 303.
Initially, authorities were planning on a technical rescue component, but that was canceled since the first arriving crews were able to easily access the patient, authorities said.
No further details were made available.
TSMC said it is in contact with construction contractors and looking into the situation.

Looks like the Gov'nor needs to go out there again and hold another press conference touting the wonderful safety partnership between TSMC and the state OSHA program.
