PHOENIX — Three highways in the White Mountains near eastern Arizona are set to reopen this week after being closed for the winter.
State Routes 261, 273 and 473 will reopen at noon on Tuesday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
These are the highways in the White Mountains that are reopening:
- SR 261 to SR 260 near Eager to Big Lake.
- SR 273 to SR 260 to Sunrise Park and Big Lake.
- SR 473 south to SR 260 on the White Mountain Apache Reservation.
ADOT recommends drivers check tire pressure in their vehicles before traveling.
