One Arizona highway closure remains in effect after four roadways reopened Tuesday.
Multiple highways were closed after potent weekend storms created flooding and other hazardous driving conditions.
State Route 89A was still closed for safety reasons between Sedona and Kachina Village (mileposts 375-397) as of 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
There is no estimated time to reopen the highway.
Closures on SR 288 between mileposts 271-302, SR 87 north of Winslow, SR 87 south of State Route 264 and US 191 in Rock Point were lifted throughout Tuesday after driving conditions improved.
Several other roadways that were closed because of the weather and its impact have also reopened, including a stretch of Interstate 17 near Flagstaff that was shut down for several hours Sunday.
Flash flood warnings were issued for multiple regions across Arizona on Sunday, including in Maricopa and Gila counties. Flooding prompted officials to issue evacuation orders in several counties.
Officials are urging motorists to avoid driving into flooded roads or washes.
