PHOENIX – The northbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway reopened after a crash in the West Valley on Monday morning, authorities said.

Traffic was forced to exit at Northern Avenue while the freeway was closed, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure was lifted around 7 a.m., per ADOT.

The crash involved a commercial vehicle, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Southbound Loop 101 was not impacted by the crash.
