Suspect remains on the loose after man killed in Phoenix shooting

PHOENIX – One man was dead and the suspect was at-large after a shooting outside a Phoenix convenience store over the weekend, authorities said.
Phoenix Police responded to a call of gunfire at 1:45 a.m. Sunday at the corner of Indian School Road and 27th Avenue, according to a department media advisory.
Witnesses said shots were fired in a 7-Eleven parking lot.
The victim, an adult male in his 40s, attempted to flee but crashed his vehicle across the street in a gas station parking lot.
He was transported by Phoenix Fire responders to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity was being withheld pending notification of family.
The suspect fled on foot.

Callers can remain anonymous, and a reward of up to $1,000 was being offered.
