Meghan McCain on Mitch McConnell and term limits
Drawing on her personal experience watching someone physically decline from an illness, McCain criticized how aging and ailing politicians can be treated in the public eye. She contrasted those cases with the late former Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl, whom she praised for “gracefully” stepping away from public life.
“I don’t think what happened to Dianne Feinstein is right, and I do think we should applaud people like Sen. Kyl and Mitt Romney and these people who understand that we are all mortal.”
