Arizona lawmakers issue subpoenas in Gov. Katie Hobbs 'pay-to-play' probe
The Legislature is conducting its own investigation into Gov. Katie Hobbs' alleged pay-to-play scheme. State Sen. Jake Hoffman said they have issued a number of subpoenas for those involved to collect witness testimony, which will be heard at a hearing later this month. He also called on Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes to release documents from her investigation, in which she declined to press charges.
Mayes is already in the process of releasing her investigation following a legal review.
