PHOENIX — A woman in a Glendale house was hospitalized after a car crashed into it on Sunday evening, authorities said.
The vehicle smashed into the home near 67th Avenue and Beardsley Road around 7:40 p.m., according to the Glendale Police Department.
Multiple people were inside the home at the time and the woman was taken to a hospital with severe internal injuries. (The woman later died.)
Speed and impairment are considered factors in the crash but there was no immediate update on the driver of the vehicle, police said.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours due to the incident.
No other information was available.
