Powerball ticket worth $50K sold at West Valley grocery store

PHOENIX — A Powerball ticket sold at a West Valley grocery store was worth $50,000 in winnings in Monday’s drawing, Arizona Lottery officials said.
The ticket was sold at Fry’s Food Store in Sun City at 10660 Grand Ave. The winning numbers in the drawing were 15, 21, 25, 37 and 45 with a Powerball number of 19.
The Sun City ticket matched four of the five numbers and the Powerball. The odds of doing that are 1 in 913,129.
The $50,000 winner was the third of September, with no $1 million wins or jackpot hits yet, according to Arizona Lottery. The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is $223 million.
As with all Arizona Lottery games, the winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the payout.
