PHOENIX — The $125 million Omni Tempe Hotel at Arizona State University is accepting reservations for stays after it opens in the spring.

The 16-floor building at Mill Avenue and University Drive will feature 330 guest rooms, including 11 suites, four dining outlets and the “largest, continuous ballroom in Tempe, at over 15,000 square feet,” according to a press release.

Rates start at $275 per night beginning on April 28.

“In the timeline of opening a new hotel, the reservation launch is not only welcomed, but an equally exciting milestone,” Todd Gagnon, general manager at Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU, said in a press release.

“This hotel will bring elevated accommodations, gourmet dining options, and a meeting experience that is unrivaled in the community. Without question, this hotel will not only offer an exceptional hotel experience, but will continue to re-define Tempe as a vibrant, destination city.”

The hotel is offering an “Extra Credit Package” that includes $75 credit for food and drinks at the Neighborhood Services restaurant and Salt & Gila Pool Bar.

Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU was part of a public-private partnership with Arizona State University and Tempe.

The hotel and conference center will be owned by the university and leased by Omni Tempe Hotel, but at the end of the agreement Omni will be able to purchase it for a nominal price. ASU will receive lease payments from the hotel over 60 years totaling $120 million.

Reservations can be made online.
