Goodyear police seek suspect in hit-and-run that killed child riding bicycle

PHOENIX — Goodyear police are seeking a suspect in a hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon that killed a 13-year-old child who was riding his bike home from school, authorities said.
The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. in the area of 182nd and San Gabriel drives, the Goodyear Police Department said in a press release.
The child, an eighth grade student at Estrella Mountain Elementary School, died at the hospital, police said.
The school identified him as Dylan Buensuceso in an email to parents.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man wearing a long sleeve orange shirt and driving a white full-size Ford pickup truck with right front headlight damage, authorities said.
Anyone who has camera footage of the area from 2:45 p.m. to 3:05 p.m. is asked to contact Goodyear police at 623-932-1220.
