PHOENIX — A healthy eatery led by a former Arizona State football star and NFL veteran is expanding to Gilbert.
CoreLife Eatery’s second Arizona location will be at Higley and Baseline roads and will open May 21, according to a press release.
The fresh ingredient concept is led by managing partner Adam Archuleta, who starred at Chandler High and ASU before playing seven seasons in the NFL.
The restaurant uses only fresh ingredients such grass-fed beef, antibiotic-free chicken and pork, and cage-free eggs.
The menu includes grain bowls, salads, soups, tacos, wraps and more.
The Gilbert location will have a soft opening on May 20 where customers will be able to order what they want for as much as they want. All proceeds will go to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
CoreLife Eatery has a Tempe spot at Warner Road and McClintock Drive.
The restaurant opened its first location in Syracuse, New York, in 2015 and has plans to expand to 300 locations over the next five years.
