PHOENIX — It’s time to celebrate the furry friends in your life with a virtual edition of the 11th annual Dog Days of Glendale.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, Dog Days of Glendale is hosting a one hour Zoom webinar on Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. The meeting will feature guest speakers discussing the effects of COVID on pets, according to the organization’s website.

Attendees who pre-register will also have the chance to win a pet gift basket from Pratt’s Pets Glendale, as well as prizes from downtown Glendale restaurants during online pre-event activities from Feb. 22 – 26.

Registration for the Zoom webinar can be completed online.

In addition to the webinar, the organization is hosting a pet food drive for Compassion Pets in Crisis.

Dog food and other pet supplies can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Out Of the Blue AZ on the corner of 58th and Palmaire avenues.

Dog Days of Glendale says there will also be other activities nearby the donation drop-off including pet engagement information from Animals in Disaster and a virtual animal adoption.

Masks and social distancing will be required.

We want to hear from you.
