I-10, I-17 in Phoenix reopens after early morning fatal accident

PHOENIX — Interstate 10 eastbound and Interstate 17 southbound in downtown Phoenix reopened at 9 a.m. on Monday after being closed for hours due to an early morning fatal accident.
The crash occurred near I-10 and 24th Street around 5:15 a.m.
All I-10 eastbound lanes were closed west of I-17 and traffic was diverted to northbound I-17.
Additionally, southbound I-17 was closed and traffic was being diverted at westbound I-10.
No other information was made immediately available on the crash that caused the closures.
An investigation is ongoing.
