PHOENIX — Trick-or-treaters have the opportunity to celebrate Halloween in the midst of lions, tigers and bears at Wildlife World Zoo Aquarium & Safari Park.
Those animals and more will be the feature of the fifth annual “Spooktacular” event at the Litchfield Park facility, located at 16501 W. Northern Ave., on Oct. 31, with animal feedings, sea lion shows, zoo rides and treats on the schedule.
Kids dressed in their costumes receive free admission to the park as part of the event.
This year’s event is subject to the safety measures put in place because of the pandemic, including masks for all visitors, social distancing on rides and increased sanitation throughout the park.
The zoo reopened its doors on Sept. 3 to the public after closing because of the coronavirus pandemic on March 31.
