Phoenix FD: 6-year-old boy hit by car, airlifted to hospital

PHOENIX — A six-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle in northwest Phoenix on Saturday night, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. near 45th Avenue and Anthem Way.
Daisy Mountain fire crews responded to the call of the boy being struck by a vehicle.
According to authorities, the boy was airlifted to a pediatric trauma facility for stabilization.
Both the cause of the collision and the boy’s status are currently unknown as the case is under investigation.
