One 28-year-old woman is in critical condition after being shot while driving a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Indian School Road and 83rd Avenue.

PHOENIX — One 28-year-old woman is in critical condition after being shot while driving a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Indian School Road and 83rd Avenue in Phoenix.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.
Two women, the 28-year-old and a 22-year-old female passenger, were driving the stolen vehicle when gunshots were fired in their direction around 1:30 a.m Saturday morning.
The 28-year-old was transferred to the hospital by Phoenix Fire Department personnel critically injured with at least one gunshot wound.
The 22-year-old was not injured in the shooting.
