PHOENIX — The Society of St. Vincent de Paul and CVS Health announced Tuesday they have teamed up to provide free, rapid coronavirus testing for uninsured Arizonans.

The testing will occur at the St. Vincent de Paul clinic located on 420 W. Watkins Road, according to a press release.

“We’re extremely grateful to CVS Health for helping bring COVID-19 testing to the uninsured patients we serve at St. Vincent de Paul,” St. Vincent de Paul’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Maurice Lee said in the release.

“Not only are we increasing access for people who might otherwise go without medical diagnosis, but we’re also gaining a better understanding of the spread happening within vulnerable populations and in our community as a whole.”

A personal vehicle is not required to receive testing and results will be provided on-site.

Patients must register in advance by calling (602)-850-6940 and can schedule a same-day appointment.

Tests will be conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

CVS currently conducts coronavirus testing at 17 locations in Arizona.
