Mecum car auction, live music events coming to Glendale this week

PHOENIX — Gearheads and music lovers, rejoice.

State Farm Stadium is set to host Mecum Auctions for a variety of collector car auctions and live musical performances from March 11-14.

Gates will open each day at 8 a.m. and will close one hour after the day’s final vehicle crosses the auction block.

Vehicles will appear for auction each day beginning at 10 a.m.

The end time for each day’s auctions will vary with the number of cars up for auction.

Road art will also be put on display each day at 9 a.m.

Lifehouse and Billy Ray Cyrus will perform concerts on March 13 and 14 respectively, each playing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

General admission auction tickets and concerts tickets are sold separately.

General parking for auction attendees is complimentary, as is attendance for children 12 years old and younger.
