Man indicted on 17 counts of organized retail theft from Valley home improvement stores
Prosecutors say he stole over $6,000 in power tools from Lowe's and Home Depot stores across the Phoenix area, then resold the goods on the street.

A man has been indicted on 17 felony counts of retail theft after prosecutors say he stole more than $6,000 worth of power tools and hardware from Lowe’s and Home Depot stores across the Phoenix area over a 10-month span.
Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced the indictment of Luis Adrian Valle-Martinez Thursday.
Prosecutors said Valle-Martinez stole from 17 different stores throughout the Valley between September 2025 and July 2026.
Surveillance video showed him using self-checkout lanes to pay for low-cost items before leaving with higher-value merchandise he had not paid for, according to the county attorney’s office.
He then allegedly sold the stolen goods in Phoenix.
