Phoenix Police investigating fatal collision that left 1 dead, 2 injured

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is investigating an incident that left one dead and two injured Friday night, according to police.

The fatal accident occurred near 57th Avenue and Indian School Road just before 8 p.m.

Three people were transported, but an adult female victim later died.

Police advised that Indian School Road would be closed in east and westbound directions.

There was no additional information immediately available.
