4 injured after being stung by bees at Sahuaro Ranch Park

PHOENIX — One person was transported to the hospital in critical condition Sunday afternoon after being stung by bees at Sahuaro Ranch Park near 59th and Mountain Avenues in Glendale.
Four people were injured after disturbing a hive while picking fruit.
A 40-year-old male and 72-year-old woman were taken to the hospital, the man in critical condition, according to Glendale Fire Department spokeswoman Ashley Losch.
A 39-year-old male and 19-year-old male were treated at the scene and not transported, Losch added.
A beekeeper was called to peacefully remove the hive.
Sahuaro Ranch Park is expected to reopen today.
No other details were immediately available.
