ASU Gammage to offer $25 ticket lottery for Blue Man Group
PHOENIX — Blue skies ahead. ASU Gammage will offer a lottery for discounted tickets to the Blue Man Group shows this weekend.
Fans can enter the lottery for up to two $25 tickets until 11 a.m. the day before the show, which runs Friday-Sunday.
At that time, winners will be notified and have five hours to buy the tickets. A $5 fee will be added to each ticket purchase.
The show, starring performers covered in blue grease paint, features musical numbers with custom-made instruments, comedy and audience interaction.
The group was nominated for an International Emmy Award for Arts Programming in 2012 and a Grammy in 2000.
As of Wednesday afternoon, tickets as low as $30 were still available online, not including fees.
The theater has previously held lotteries for some popular shows, including “Hamilton,” “Dear Evan Hansen” and “The Book of Mormon.”
