John McCain books rising on Amazon best-seller lists

PHOENIX — Two books written by Sen. John McCain and a third by his daughter, Meghan, have been rising up the Amazon best-seller lists since the former senator and veteran’s death on Saturday.
McCain’s memoir, “The Restless Wave,” was the No. 10 book overall on Amazon at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
It was also No. 3 in biographies and memoirs and the No. 1 book in historical biographies, U.S. biographies, U.S. State and Local History, U.S.Congresses, Senates & Legislative.
The CD and audio versions were also among best-sellers.
“The Restless Wave,” published in May, offered McCain’s reflections on his life and the United States.
Meanwhile, Meghan McCain’s book from 2008 is also rising the charts. “My Dad, John McCain” was a children’s book depicting his military service and presidential run.
By Friday evening, it was in the top 10 in Children’s American History of 2000s, Children’s Political Biographies and Children’s Government Books categories.
“Faith of my Fathers,” written by Sen. McCain and published in Oct. 2016, has also taken off over the last few days.
It leapt into the Top 200 in books and is No. 1 in three history and military categories.
