Wrong-way crash leaves 1 critically injured, closes eastbound I-10 in Chandler
DPS said that multiple people were left injured with one person being considered critical. It noted that impairment is suspected.

Eastbound Interstate 10 closed in Chandler after a wrong-way driver collided with multiple cars Friday evening, authorities said.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety told KTAR News 92.3 FM that it responded to the crash near Ray Road around 6:30 p.m. after receiving calls about a car driving westbound on the eastbound side of the freeway.
DPS said that multiple people were left injured with one person being considered critical. It noted that impairment is suspected.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said that drivers had to exit at or before Warner Road.
Westbound I-10 was not affected by the crash.
Eastbound I-10 was closed for an extended investigation but reopened overnight.
